Spokes Fighting Strokes is a Phoenix-based non-profit organization founded by our very own Dan Zimmerman who is a regular rider with the Scottsdale recumbent community.
Their mission is to reach every stroke survivor and show them that recovery is possible. Through their Adaptive Cycling clinics in Phoneix and Denver, they help stroke survivors to get their life back by regaining strength, ability, hope, and freedom. Their goal is to increase awareness about stroke and HHT (Hereditary Hemorrahgic Telangiectasia), the cause of Dan's stroke, and to make Adaptive Cycling available to the stroke community.
